Hi everyone! I’m Aithne, and I’m so excited to introduce myself as the new ASN Manager for the South Services!
I’ve been working in childcare for over 8 years now. From a young age, I always knew this was the path for me, I left school to study childcare and never looked back! Over the years, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to grow and develop within the sector, working in schools, nurseries, and directly with families.
My name is Claire and I am the Assistant Service Manager at our setting in Keith. Previous to joining FCSS I spent many a happy year as a parent helper in both of my children’s nurseries and schools, as well as holding various positions on their parent committees. Then in January 2022, with my children older, and my role as their Mum changing, I felt the time was right for me to pursue my career
My name is Gillian Mitchinson and I am a busy mum of four teenage children, 20, 17 and twins 16. I live in a rural area beside Huntly with my four children and husband. I love the peace and tranquillity that it brings and it is perfect for walks with my 6 year old Cavachon dog.
I qualified in 2004 with an HNC in childcare and education. Since then, I have worked in various childcare services, including private, voluntary, and local authorities.
My name is Stephanie and I am the Assistant Service Manager in Dundee.
I have worked in early years since 2017 and have been with FCSS since 2020. I am a fully qualified practitioner and hold my SVQ level 3 and SVQ level 4. I am also going to be working towards my BA in Childhood Practice.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 2000, Paul has over twenty year’s experience leading businesses through change in a variety of sectors including software, engineering and legal services. Paul recently joined the team at FCSS as he recognises the impact that the provision of flexible childcare can have in removing barriers to work and helping to reduce poverty.
Kelly has 15 years experience working with children aged 0-12 in various childcare settings across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
Kelly has worked in Senior/Management posts for the last 8 years and strives to provide a safe, stimulating environment for the children.
Kim began her career in childcare in 2013 where she attended Banff and Buchan College. Kim achieved a qualification in Childcare and Education at Higher before completing her SVQ Level 3 qualification in 2016 through employment.
Kayleigh is the Assistant Manager for our Cummings Park Service in Aberdeen. She is a fully qualified practitioner with an SVQ 3 and currently working towards her SVQ4.
