A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants since 2000, Paul has over twenty year’s experience leading businesses through change in a variety of sectors including software, engineering and legal services. Paul recently joined the team at FCSS as he recognises the impact that the provision of flexible childcare can have in removing barriers to work and helping to reduce poverty.
Paul said, “Having spent the last twenty two years bringing up a family I can appreciate how important high quality, flexible childcare and children’s services really are, especially in a society that is moving towards a more flexible working approach that, whilst an advantage for parents, it can mean that traditional childcare models are outdated.
“The flexible model at FCSS is a life saver for so many and provides opportunities for parents, especially the unemployed or those working in roles with no set hours where the cost of fixed childcare would be a barrier to them re-entering the workforce.”
