Additional Support Needs

We have been providing specialist and complex care for children with Additional Support Needs for more than 15 years. Our team are fully qualified and have undertaken numerous training courses including Autism, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Peg and Nasal Feeding.

We have a range of services available to children and families designed to give young people the care they need, and parents and carers the peace of mind and support when they need it. These include:

Home based care

Our qualified and experienced team provide specialist care for children with additional support needs from the family home. This is an important service for the whole family and gives parents and carers time away from their caring role, allowing them to spend time with the rest of the family or to engage in work, training or education.

Transport

We provide a Drop-off & Pick-up service to get children safely to and from their day care setting.

Complex Care

All children are different and at FCSS we ensure that our care plans are tailored to the individual needs of the children in our care. Our team are highly experienced and are fully trained to manage the complex needs of the children in our care.

Fayth

Thanks to Flexible Childcare Services Scotland I’ve been able to start a new job that works out the same as my daughters nursery times. This means I’m able to work without missing out on any time with her as when I’m at work she’s in a playful learning environment with her friends just like she’s would be at school.

Without the flexibility of the service we would be paying out 4 x as much in childcare. We are lucky to have my mother in law help 2 days a week. I am a nurse who works shifts therefore our requirements vary on a weekly basis.
