Hello my name is Susan and I have worked for Flexible Childcare Services Scotland for six years.
I am constantly looking at ways to learn more and as well as completing my Level 3 and 4 in Scottish Social Services Children and Young People and I am currently doing a BA in Childhood Practise. I also do volunteer for the Children’s Panel where I received a Professional Development Award (PDA) Level 7 with the SQA.
My passion is working with children and young people with additional support needs. I have always liked to support others and in this job I can support families and young people. I love learning about the young people from their parents as you get to know the young person more and make sure that their needs and interests are met.
I love seeing the young people trying something new or developing new skills , to me personally it’s amazing that i can be part of their personal growth and development.
In my spare time I like reading and going to the theatre and cinema.
