Hi everyone! I’m Aithne, and I’m so excited to introduce myself as the new ASN Manager for the South Services!
I’ve been working in childcare for over 8 years now. From a young age, I always knew this was the path for me, I left school to study childcare and never looked back! Over the years, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to grow and develop within the sector, working in schools, nurseries, and directly with families.
My passion for Additional Support Needs (ASN) started early on in my journey. While studying, I began working with adults with learning disabilities, which really sparked my interest. I later moved into nursery settings and found my heart was truly in supporting ASN children.
When I’m not at work, you’ll most likely find me by the beach – and quite often in the North Sea! (Some say I’m a little crazy… but I call it refreshing)
I’m really looking forward to this new chapter and can’t wait to work alongside the amazing teams and families in the South!
