The Hunter Foundation has recently launched a new community of entrepreneurs and business leaders who have dedicated themselves to solve Scotland’s societal and environmental challenges – this community is known as Scotland’s Changemakers.
This initiative from the Hunter Foundation provides training, peer support and creates a platform where Changemakers can connect, collaborate, and support each other’s efforts.
This group unites the collective power of Scottish leaders, and their organisations, to work together, collectively, towards meaningful societal change.
We are very proud that our CEO Susan McGhee has been chosen as one of these Changemakers.
She has been recognised for her work in removing childcare as a barrier to education and employment which is helping parents return to work, increase their incomes and helping to distance their entire families from poverty.
Alongside her other Changemaker peers and since the launch of our new 5 Year Strategy we aim to increase our impact by helping families increase their household income by £1.9 / year in 2023/24 to more than £5m/year by 2030. Watch this space and follow our journey as we tackle poverty through the provision of flexible childcare.
