This role would suit and experienced qualified or unqualified practitioner and you will join a fully flexible nursery with a dedicated team.

Hours of Work

Your qualifications and experience:
We are looking for a childcare practitioner (ideally qualified but unqualified applicants will also be considered) to come and work in our nursery. Ideal candidates will have some experience in working with children and young people.
The Role:
The successful candidates will be expected to deliver high-quality early learning and childcare for children; they will be expected to support the Service Manager and the existing team. This role would be ideal for someone looking to start or further progress a career in childcare and will provide a pathway to childcare qualifications.
The Setting:
The nursery is a custom built ELC setting and part of the charity Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS). FCSS is unique in that parents are able to book childcare by the hour, pay as they go and change their bookings each week. This flexible childcare model helps save families money on their childcare while supporting them back into education and employment, helping to distance the whole family from poverty.
