We are looking for Sessional Childcare Practitioners to join our team here in Banff.
This is an ‘as and when required’ role to fit around the needs of the group and your availability to work. The hourly rate of pay for this post is £12.60-£12.92 per hour.
Hours of Work
The group times for this post are as follows:
Term time – Monday 2.45pm-5.45pm, every Saturday 9.30am – 3.30pm
Holiday periods – Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday & Saturday 9.30am – 3.30pm
Your qualifications and experience:
We are looking for qualified and unqualified childcare practitioners to come and work in our after school and Saturday clubs and our holiday playschemes. Ideal candidates will have some experience in working with children with ASN.
The Role:
The successful candidates will be expected to deliver high quality early learning and childcare for children, they will be expected to support the Service Manager and the existing team. This role would be ideal for someone looking to start or further progress a career in childcare and will provide a pathway to childcare qualifications.
The Setting:
Our Banff groups are located in the Family Centre and the Academy and are for both primary and secondary aged children specifically with ASN and are part of the charity Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS). FCSS is a national charity that is unique in that parents are able to book childcare by the hour, pay as they go and change their bookings each week. This flexible childcare model helps save families money on their childcare while supporting them back into education and employment, helping to distance the whole family from poverty.
