Flexible Childcare Service Manager

Hi I’m Shona and I’m one of the Service Managers supporting ASN Groups in Aberdeenshire.
I started off in childcare back in 2009 but then left and went in to a career of catering but after many years I decided that I wanted to get in to childcare. I worked in a private nursery for 3 years where I gained my qualification in Social Service (Children and Young People) Level 3 (SCQF Level 7). I worked with many children over my time who has Additional Support Needs, so when an opportunity arrived to work with ASN on a fulltime basis I couldn’t pass it up, it is such a rewarding job in so many ways. I am currently on the waiting list to start my BA Hons for childcare.
I recently got married, have 3 dogs and live in the countryside. I enjoy having family time with my husband where we go to Vintage Rally’s for all classic vehicles.
I also love to try and raise money for charities that are for Miscarriages so that we can help them fund more research into helping find out why this happens.
