My name is Amy and I am an Aberdeenshire ASN manager. I started working in childcare in 2020 working as a support worker where I gained experience within all age groups to then be qualified within 7 months and later go on to being the Room Lead.
I am now qualified and have completed my SVQ level 3 as well as a range of courses from safeguarding children to courses about observations and inspections.
All of the courses and learning I have completed such as child protection, food allergens and safeguarding have all helped me gain a more indepth understanding into childcare and how to help support the development of each child. I have a passion for childcare and always love a challenge and I am eager to take on further training in my new role as manager.
